Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation
The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that improve education, healthcare, homelessness, and social justice in the greater Los Angeles, CA, region, with emphasis on Los Angeles County.
The Foundation invests in programs that improve:
- Education
The focus is on organizations that offer literacy, STEM, college access and success, and enrichment programs.
- Healthcare
The focus is on organizations that identify health disparities that exist along racial, class, and gender lines and provide services that support interventions for the most vulnerable populations. Organizations that address nutrition and fitness are also supported.
- Homelessness
The focus is on preventing homelessness by supporting organizations that keep families intact and roofs over their heads. Additional focus areas include affordable housing, foster care, food insecurity, education and job training, and basic needs.
- Youth Development
The focus is on organizations that provide youth with the tools they need to be better equipped in the classroom, on the field, and for whatever endeavor their future holds for them. Special emphasis is placed on engaging girls in sports as well as programming that provides adult mentors the resources they need to be better supporters of youth.
Note: There are limited funds available to support special events or fundraisers; where possible, these opportunities will be reviewed monthly.
